We like to travel to Charleston for 'quick getaways' and normaly only stay at the Vendue Inn. We couldn't get a room there for just 1 night so we booked at The Meeting Street Inn. Meeting Street in was fantastic - very beautiful decorated and quaint. It is not as fancy as the Vendue but it is also a fraction of the price.

Meeting Street inn was also very quiet. The breakfast they served was great too - just enough food. Meeting Street Inn is just across the street from the Market and 1/2 block from the shops at Charleston Place.
